I have created a theme using Artisteer, but I am having issues saving it as html – I can’t, so i took the bones of the WP theme and uploaded it to www dot lcdtvenclosure dot com / preview but I cannot figure out how to add the boxes with image and content on? This is the html one I want it to look like at www. lcdtvenclosure . com / images/ shot.png

Also how do I get rid of the comments box?

    Thank you in advance.

    Graham

  • Are you using WP or trying to create an html site?

Have you asked on the Artisteer forums? Their themes are not generally supported here.

I am trying to use WP, I left a message on Artisteer site yesterday with no response.

I just want to know how to create the boxes to put content in them and thought here would be a good place to start.

Are you talking about static content in the boxes or content like excerpts of posts (this is fairly commonly done in WP)?

What are you trying to do overall — move an html site to WP? You might consider using a good quality theme that has the basic layout and functions that you want and that meets WP standards (Artisteer does not) — as you would then get support here. Here’s a good place to find such themes:

Trying to add static content, and move from html to WP.

But using a mass theme will seriously screw up the site according to Google, with the same layout…

Thanks anyway, got the advice I needed by email support from Artisteer.
