I am based out of Toronto, Canada.

i put both my home and work up addresses on the whitelist.

    I have 2fa.

if I dont whitelist both IPs then the issue occurs.

outside home and work, it says wrong login login details.

Then I click the link on the email, voila I am approved, I have to put my login details and then the 2fa code.

I am currently in Croatia and it is annoying the email verification. I don’t remember for over 10 years that I had to do this.

username + password + 2fa should be enough.

How do I get rid of the email verification thing?

Hi @miroslavglavic, sorry to see you’ve been having issues logging in without verification.

The verification emails are sent to verify a failed reCAPTCHA score. Google reCAPTCHA v3 only provides a score and nothing else, it doesn’t fall back to picking bicycles/traffic lights/etc., so any fallback is left to the implementer.

We don’t receive information from Google about?why?a human may sometimes receive a low enough score to always require verification. Generally, a “reCAPTCHA human/bot threshold score” setting in?Wordfence > Login Security > Settings?of at least?0.7?should allow?most?humans through on your site without having to verify every time. You could try altering this a few times to see if any setting helps.

A possible solution if you’re stuck with low scores no matter what you try is visiting your https://www.google.com/recaptcha/ admin and generate a new set of reCAPTCHA v3 keys. Replace the existing keys in Wordfence’s settings. This resets any history the site had accumulated that could result in constantly low scores, but?not?reset the score history chart in the Wordfence plugin.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.

@wfpeter thanks for replying. I had that setting at 0.5. I changed to 0.7 and regenerated new keys.

i tried to login a few times since then and just now before posting this reply. No more email confirmation/validation.

Just the username/password and then the 2fa.
