How do I stop galleries taking up so much space on mobile devices?

As you will see from the URL the screen shot of a page from my website on an iPhone (SE) the images take up way too much space on my mobile phone. Lets say I’ve got 30 images in a gallery thats a whole lot of scrolling to get to the next none gallery section on the page.
Is there anything I can do to make these images smaller on mobile devices only?
Or have say two or three side by side as opposed to each image on its own seperate line?
