How do I stop images from linking to attachment pages?

  • All of a sudden, every image that I insert into a post on my site is linking to an attachment page instead of the plan file extension (“…/image.jpg”). I absolutely hate the attachment pages, and I don’t understand what I clicked or did that’s making this happen.

    Where are the attachment pages controlled, and how can I fix it so that the images I insert don’t link to them any more?
