How do I stop the wordpress menu sliding off the screen when I do a post

Because it’s really annoying! They added a stupid dynamic feature where the elements of the screen slide out of sight and back. It’s really, REALLY annoying!!!! I hate it!!!! I just want the elements to remain on screen.
