How do I turn off All posting replies and comments.

Disable comments and pings on the Options->Discussion page, and turn off “Allow Comments” and “Allow Pings” on all the posts you’ve already made.

I tried that already look here Leave a Reply is still there I really would like that gone and even the info here that shows this Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment ? it show also if ppl use the search and fine content how can I get rid of that also

You must still have “Allow comments” turned on for that particular post, because it let me post a comment.

Individual posts can have comments turned on or off. The Options->Discussion settings just allows you to set what the default settings are.

Turn off “Allow Comments” and “Allow Pings” on all the posts you’ve already made. Go to Manage->Posts. Edit the post. On the right hand side, there’s Allow Comments and Allow Pings. Turn those off for *every post*.

What php file is that code in?

Also, can someone tell me which line of code to alter?

Sorry for the double post. But just for clarity, when I say php file, I’m talking about the file I have to edit to remove “Posted in Uncategorized | Edit | Comments Off” as I am having the same problems as deonya.
