How do I turn off auto responder?

    I have been trying to find out for ages now how to un-install the auto responder from Jetpack. Neither myself nor my website man can figure out how to do it. Apparently there may be a line of code to enter somewhere? Please can someone help, I don’t understand why it’s so difficult and I need it removed asap. So grateful for your assistance! ??

    Hi!

    Which auto-responder are you referring to? There is no auto-responder pe se in Jetpack but there is Jetpack Monitor which informs you when your site goes down. Is that what you’re referring to?

    Hi, thanks for replying! It’s the email that goes out to my subscribers when I publish a new post, it happens automatically and I can’t see anyway to turn it off. I’m wanting to switch to Aweber but need this one turned off first. I’m thinking I might just ditch Jetpack all together, perhaps that’s the best option?

    Hi! To turn off email subscriptions, you need to deactivate the Subscriptions module in Jetpack. No need to completely deactivate Jetpack itself.

    You can turn off a Jetpack module by following these steps:

    1. Go to Jetpack from your dashboard

    2. Click on the “Learn More” button of the activated module – highlighted in red in the screenshot below:

    3. Click the “Deactivate” button that turns up next to the “Learn More” button – highlighted in red in this screenshot:

    4. You’re done, the module has been deactivated.
