How do I turn off comments for specific posts?

  • I’ve been bothered by stray comments to posts to one of my blogs and would like to turn off the comments feature either for the blog as a whole or for specific posts. But I can no longer see how to do that.

    Previously I would log on to the specific post, find the comment off/on radio button. Now that button is nowhere to be found.

  • The comment section (and others) is now hidden by default. In the upper right corner on the Post edit screen is a button “Screen Options” – click it, and put a check in the Comments checkbox. The section you used to use will again be visible.

    Also, it will remember your setting once you change it so you should only need to do this once
