A very basic question but I’m new to WP. I need to create 100+ pages which circumstantially change. For example, every page might display a field pertaining to apples. This month 50 or so pages might display “we sell apples”, then next month 30 of them will change to “it’s winter now so no more apples”.

This seems to be the right plugin to use but aside from installing it I don’t know how to get started. My apologies for the newbie question but I’ve only been using WP for a week. Any help much appreciated.

This app would work to change the custom field across a lot of pages at once, but a much better solution would be to save the custom field at the options level so you just have to change it once. There’s a plugin that makes this very easy called https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/options-page/ that I use all the time to do things like this. I’d make a site-wide options page where I could set the season, and then reference that site-wide option on my internal pages.

    Hope that helps,

Great! I’ll try to figure this one out but it looks manageable. Many thanks!
