How do I use WP commenting function on a non-WP website?

    Is it possible to add a commenting section to HTML pages powered by WP if the website is not built as a WP website? If so, how??? I’d like to utilize WordPress commenting for my website on a bunch of project pages. I have a WP account and separate WP blog [on a sub-domain] which works perfectly fine, but really like the way WP commenting functions.
