• Hi I am not a programmer.
I am learning as I go along.
I am using Pinboard template and for my inside pages I have it as sidebar/content
I am using adrotate in the side bar now and the ads are too narrow but there is enough space to accommodate a wider ad size.(as wide as the facebook widget) I also tried ad widget and I get the same narrow ads. It’s even worse when I set up a square ad in ‘blocks’ it gives me a scroll.

I dont know how to handle CSS or HTML on wordpress – and dont want to cause a catastrophe. Is there another widget I can use or something else?

See site here – my official launch is soppose to be tomorrow

    1. Download Chrome browser.
    2. Highlight your side bar and right-click on it.
    3. Choose inspect element and see what’s the CSS tag for the section (typically “sidebar”)
    4. go back to the dashboard
    3. Appereance > editor
    4. Key: control f
    5. Find the css tag (ie. sidebar)
    6. find the width line within it (Ie. width: 600px)
    7. change it
    8. Save
    9. reload the webpage and see what happens
    10. play with sizes
    11. repeat

Found it – but I didnt see a width number – it said column
Also if I change that wont it change the content section too?
The width number was on the right hand side of the CSS and it wasnt editable(hope I am explaining myself properly)

I tried changing the column – but have no clue how to save it.
