How do related posts work?

  • How does the theme decide what to display in related posts?
    Can I choose which posts I want to relate?
    Will it always show the featured image in the related posts section?

  • Hello there.

    Related posts are considered posts in the same category. These are pulled automatically on a random pattern, there is no user control over them.

    The related posts will pull the featured image, as long as the source post has one.

    It seems like my related posts are from different categories, but I’ll see how it changes as I have more posts. Thanks so much!

    This might occur if a post is on multiple categories. The related posts below might be posts from different categories, but they will still have at least one in common with the post displayed.
