How do use a 2 pane theme like frames

    Sorry but I had no idea how to word this subject.

    I have a theme with two panes. I would like to have links in the right hand pane which would change the video in the left hand pane. In olden days I used to do do this easily with frames but I have no idea how to do it in WordPress. I expect there is a plugin that will do it but I don’t know what to search for
