How do you add a border around widgets?

    My website is https://www.arianatoday.celebwire.org and I have my website all organized.

    As you can see on the sidebar, it is transparent; you can see the background (color) on the sidebar, making it look tacky.

    How do you add a border around the widgets/sidebar, or a coloured box for the widgets to stand out? Is there any code? Please let me know,
