I’m trying to add a filter to include two wordpress categories to a Google Shopping feed. Only on category is added to the feed.

Category – Contains – WP Category – Include Only

Category: Aquaglide Kayaks & Inflatable Paddleboards

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

You can only use one “include only” filter per feed project (hence the only). Adding two include only filters therefore won’t work. It is possible though to add multiple exclude filters, would that be a solution for you?

It should work but I have many categories and will require a lot more work. It seems like it would be more efficient to add 2 or 3 categories to include than to exclude 20. Is there any workarounds for this? It seems other would like the ability to filter just a few of the more profitable categories to their feed.

Thank you for the quick response!

what about creating two exclude filters saying “exclude” categories that do “not contain” category X and Y. Should work the same as two include only filters?

I did try the exclude categories that do not contain x & y and it then removed all products from the feed.

did you mind the upper and lower casing?

With the Categories, it is a drop down menu.
