• Is there a way to allow comments and pings for your WHOLE blog instead that you each time tick the check boxes on the “add post” page? I thought I saw this in an earlier version, but now I can’t find anywhere. There are written much plugins to automate other functions so I don’t understand why there is so little information. Maybe because these days people have more reasons to put off all commenting.

    Can anyone help please?

This was alreay checked. Below this line there is also:
“(These settings may be overridden for individual articles.)”

Thus it is up to the author to check it himself. It’s this that I wanted to change to save time and get the possibility that each post can be commented.

Isn’t there a method to change the default in the code?
