  • Why not just replace the image within your theme’s image subdirectory with the newer one? All you have to do is keep it the same file name. No editing. No mess.

    I replaced the image in the directory but it seems that it will not change…

    Don’t forget to hit the “refresh” (or “reload”) button in your browser. Many things that you change using WP are not reflected in IE (for example) until you tell IE to reload the page.

    I have done that many time, restarted the bowser and everything… nothing.

    Your site does not load so it is difficult to check. Did you “upload” the new file? I have several times forgot to send the file to the server and then wondered why there was no change.

    You can see changes in your admin area under header image and color. You might need to make adjustments to color there.
