How do you clear cache on edit?

Basically I’ve written my own plugin and would like to trigger add_action BUT i’ve seen only 1 update_option() for the whole plugin.
where else can I put my own custom cache clearing function?

To clarify – it sounds like you want to trigger your custom code to run when the plugin settings page is updated/saved. Is that correct?
