how do you insert hyperlinks in the footer

  • I am new to blogging and looking forward to learning quite a bit.

    To start off, I have an edegree theme with a lot of sections in the footer where I want to insert hyperlinks to pages like privacy policy, disclaimer and what not. How do you insert a hyperlink in the page footer?

    I tried using the “Links”, “Pages”, and “Text” widgets by dragging them into the appropriate footer section but no where does any of the widgets provide provision to add in a hyperlink. What am I missing here?

    you would add a hyperlink to the text widget manually
