How do you make the Home page slider loop.

You say the the slider rewinds to the first slide when it reaches the end. This is not how the site I am developing [https://ghchurch.vm411.com] with the Faith theme is working. I thought it might be because I only had two slides. So I tried three, then four, and finally five. But each time the slideshow ended on the last slide and does not rewind to the first. Then I thought it might have something to do with the browser. So I tried it in Safari and Chrome both on a desktop and a tablet and it still does not work.

Follow Up: I tried deactivating all the plugins to see if there was a conflict. After deactivating the plugins the issue still persisted.

I don’t think it’s any kind of conflict.
Both the theme’s demo and your website rewind the slideshow to the first slide upon reaching the last one, no matter how many slides you have.
It is odd that you’re not seeing it.

Thanks for the quick response. It’s strange since both my website and the demo site stop at the last slide and do not automatically rewind to the first slide and then play again. I saw another topic in August that referenced the same problem, reported by Harryb3, and that website https://sthildascatholicwhitby.com stops at the last slide and does not rewind and play again either. Do you think it is a browser issue? What browser are you using? I’ve tested with the latest versions of Safari, Chrome, and Firefox and all do not rewind and replay after the last slide. Faith theme version 1.3.1.

For me that website works too.

So let me get this straight: you are clicking the arrows in the slideshow (or the arrows on the keyboard), and while clicking the arrows, once it reaches the last slide, clicking on the arrows no longer works?

It works for me in any browser I try, both on PC and Mac.

Thank you for getting back to me. No I am not clicking the arrows. What I am expecting to happen, without any user interaction, is that after you link to the home page, the slide show starts automatically, advancing through all five slides and at the end the slide show rewinds to the first slide and starts showing the slides again. In other words a continuous looping slide show, until the viewer interacts with the home page in some way.
