Hi, I created a form that collects first name and e-mail address. It’s integrated with mailchimp. When submitting the form, it adds the e-mail to my mailchimp list successfully but does not pass on the First Name. How do I resolve this issue?

    Hi Andy,

    1. Please go to your mailchimp list > Settings > List fields and *|MERGE|* tags > Copy the tag of first name field. Paste it in label field of same field in pluginops form.

    Thanks

Hi, didn’t work – not sure if I’m doing something wrong.

So the list field for first name on mailchimp is: *|FNAME|*

When I edit the form, the label is “First Name”, I replaced it with the above mentioned tag.

The only thing it does is it updates the e-mail description to the tag name, but it doesn’t pass on the first name to mailchimp. Actually, it’s not even passing on e-mail and I’m not sure what I did to break it.

If you can share the url link to form so I can test and see issue.
Did you set it as FNAME ?

The label for your form is still “First Name”.

Replace it with FNAME and it will work.

I updated to FNAME, and it’s not passing through to mailchimp at all.
