    Hello,

In Custom Post Type UI I have a taxonomy called ‘Restaurant Food Type’. How do I set it so that the value ‘unrated’ is the default every time a new post is made?

I can’t find a answer anywhere for it. Does anyone know the solution?

    Thanks,
    From
    Anil

If you’re code savy at all, I can point you to some potential tutorials but beyond that, I don’t know of any way to do this with UI only.

    Hey,

My coding skills are awful. I am happy to copy and paste a code if their is a template already available that people are using. I think I would just need to edit the post names to fit my website and then paste it in somewhere.

    I’d use something like https://gist.github.com/mayeenulislam/f208b4fd408fd4742c06

I believe line 23 in that gist paste is a custom taxonomy of “monkey-faces” and the term after it, with line 22 being the default “tags” taxonomy.

Should be pretty straightforward to modify as you need.
