How Do You Set Up Registration With Register Plus – help please!!

Several questions related to one question:

I’ve installed Register Plus. Almost done with set up.

But I must not know the entire process for registration.

Searching for help, I read in another person’s post that says she had to “write a simple set of ‘instructions’ on the site’s ‘members area’ to let newly registered people know what to do and where to go…”

How do you do this? What is “the site’s members area” ?

In my case, after the registrant gets the email with a link to confirm, they’re taken directly to the web site. Which makes it seem like they’re logged in. But they’re not logged in. That’s good because the admin needs to approve and give them a role. But it’s confusing. And in fact they can’t log in.

After I give the unverified user (the registrant) a role in WP and save, nothing happens.

Register Plus lets you set up a Registration Was Successful email, but I don’t know what to do to trigger this.
