How does Auto Detect work

  • Woo Multi Currency works but one feature I don’t understand. That is auto connect. What does it use to determine country. I need the plugin to look at logged in user’s billing address country an set the pricing currency automatically and not let user change it.

    Can this product do that. Free or Pro?

  • Hello Charles,
    The plugin uses the customer’s IP to detect their country. Then select currency base in their country. The feature you ask for, change currency base in billing address, is not available. Currency should be chosen when they are viewing products, it is too late to select currency when they checkout.
