    Hello,

How does CleanTalk’s Brute Force protection work?

I read this Cloudflare article, which says that “incorporating a delay in password-checking software” can help protect against brute force attacks. Does CleanTalk delay password checking?

I want the website to be secure, but I want to minimize the affect on website visitors, particularly around page speed performance.

    Thank you.

    Hello, @mfulham

Our Security plugin adds a delay of a few seconds for any failed attempt to login to the WordPress back-end. If some IPs have 10 and more attempts to log in, then these IPs will be banned for the next 24 hours.

You can read more about Security features here:

    Did it help?
