how does do not sell personal information work

    Hello,
    This website needs to address CCPA rules and I see your plugin provides for a Do Not Sell Personal Information link.

    When we enable that feature, the user sees a little pop up that they can confirm the opt-out. When the user opts-out… what happens? I’m not sure how to test this function.

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

    The Do not sell check box saves the preference of the user to opt-out from selling the data tracked via cookies. The actual process of preventing the sharing of such data should be handled by the site owner.

    Any scripts added via our plugin’s cookie categories will be indeed blocked if the user opt-out from consent.
