How does iframe record an action

My client uses the lead generator feature from 17hats.com and wanted to generate a popup on their site. The easiest way to do this was to embed a 17hats form as an iframe in a popsystic popup form.

This works perfectly as designed, but for the popsystic option “Whom to show”, I want to no longer show the popup to anyone who took the action from the iframe.

My question is how does your popup know what action (if any) was taken inside the iframe?

Asked another way, if I use the “iframe” method of populating your popup, can I also use the “Until user makes an action” test to prevent the user seeing the popup again?
