Question: What method does this plug-in use to disable an account? As you know, there are several plug-ins which offer this feature. Which one might it emulate? I mentioned earlier that I am using “Disable User Login” and it has its way to set disable. Would your plug-in make the same setting? How can I verify this?

    Thank you!

Disable an account is not core feature, so method is always one – to add a marker to user’s metas. Disable User Login plugin uses _is_disable meta key with values 0/1. My plugin additionally creates a meta field with date of disabling and it is compatible now with plugin DUL. So when you disable/enable users via my plugin and DUL is active it will work like you disable/enable in terms of DUL as well (it updates _is_disable meta).

You can easily verify this –
    1) disable one of users via my plugin
    2) check user list here /wp-admin/users.php – you will disabled status in ‘Disabled’ column

This column is provided by DUL plugin so it means then for DUL this user is disabled as well.

Great! Thank you! I will definitely start to use this plug-in more. I have so many old accounts and it was a pain to go through and disable, then delete them later.

I hope you can find another way to receive donations soon.

If you have time to add another feature in the future, naturally it would be useful to have an email notification sent to users whose account has been disabled! But, I understand you’ve done so much already, so thank you again. I think this plug-in will become very popular.
