Hello. I have 2 questions about the plugin.
    1) I’m a bit confused about how it works.
Does it show only posts from my site in related posts?
Why when I write a post or create a page in my dashboard do I see related content from other sites?
Will this content show up on my site? Is is somehow embedded in the code of a page?
    2) I have Wordfence plugin which is an antivirus plugin. It also shows who comes to my site. Their Ip, location, etc. It shows that this IP 142.4.216.32 visits my site very often and checks every url. As I see it is Zemanta Aggregator/0.9 +https://www.zemanta.com.
Why does it visit my site so often? Does it load my server? Do I need to blacklist this IP?
    Thank you so much.

  • Hey,

    thanks for reaching out!

    1) We offer two features – one is the “Related Posts” which are added under your posts automatically (and are only selected among your own posts). The other is “Related Articles (from around the web)” – you can add them when composing your post, manually (they should show up below your editor). These articles are from other bloggers that write about similar topics as you.
    2) We need the Aggregator, so that our algorithm can “scan” your posts and suggest the ones that are most relevant to the post to which they are added. Should you block the IP, the Aggregator should stop working properly. Keep in mind though that you are able to also manually edit the related posts that are chosen automatically via the orange “Edit Related Posts” button displayed below the related posts.

If you have any other questions or need additional assistance, please let me know.

Take care and have a lovely weekend,
    Petra
