How Does it Work for Post Categories?

    Hi, I just found your plugin and have a few questions, if I may…

    1) Wondering if it works with post categories? Can I enter the Category URI and have all the posts in that category show on the selected theme for that category?
    2) Can I customize the theme while the main theme is activated? Will I be able to use the customizer for each theme selected?
    3) How would the search function work? Does it use the selected theme’s search function and results page?

    Basically hoping to have a different theme for each category and be able to customize each theme the way I want it with a different logo, menus, widgets, etc for each category.

    Sorry for the delay. I just noticed this today. I don’t sign in often. As to your questions.

    1. You assign themes on posts and pages on each individual post or page. The plugin does not use the page/post category to determine which theme to use.

    2. You can customize themes using the WordPress UI only of that theme is considered the “live” theme. However, if you have access to the theme’s files via ftp, you can edit them whenever you want. The plugin essentially turns ON or OFF a theme, so it’s theme-specific tools will only be available if it is the currently active theme.

    3. If you use a specific theme on a specific post/page, it should load all of that theme’s capabilities. So, if youjumped between three pages using three different themes, the search function on each of those pages should be from the theme for that particular page.

    I have two questions Can this be used to assign a theme to all blog posts in general. I have many posts and if I have to assign a theme to every single post then its not what I am looking for.

    My second question is this compatible with page builders ie Elementor?

    Sorry, there is currently not an option to assign themes to posts in groups or by category.
