How does login trigger work?

    I’m trying to understand how login triggers work.

    I have 3 levels for login triggers (Visit 1, Visit 5 and Visit 10).

    Visit 1 – 1st login – Award Point and a Badge
    Visit 5 – 5th login – Award 5 points and badge
    Visit 10 – 10th login – Award 10 points and badge.

    While testing this, I saw the previous day’s login’s are not counted.

    Day 1 – 4 visits and Day 2 – 6 Visits. User doesn’t’ get the Visit 10 badge. I had to login 10 times per day to get that badge.

    Is that by design?

    Hmm, very strange and I wager it was NOT designed to do that. I’ll have to get back to you on this one, as I’d like to test this to see if I can recreate. Given the timeframe of multiple days, I’ll have to report back tomorrow ??

    Stand by and if you don’t hear from me in about 30 hours, remind me ??

    After Visit 10 was awarded, I was expecting Visit 15 will be awarded. But, count reset to 1.

    Even with today, I saw the count was reset. So, may not have to wait till tomorrow.

    Just checking in:

    it’s 12:07am for me at the time of this posting, and i’m up to 8 logins now without any regression in count total

    I’ll probably give it a couple more logins in the morning to see about surpassing the 10 part.

    Just as some extra info, it’s all meta data stored on the user’s ID, so if you happen to somehow have something clearing out user meta, that would affect it.

    I had no issue reaching the 10 logins mark this morning, so something else must be going on with your user data at this point.

    Thanks for the update. Let me check why user’s meta is getting cleared.
