How does most recent determine what is recent?

    I want the five most recent podcasts. I used limit=”5″ and I get the FIRST five, not most recent.

    I put publication dates on each episode. Is this how the shortcode determines recency?

    Hi there

    So sorry for only getting back to you now on this.

    By default the shortcode will order them in ascending order based on ID, you can change this by adding in order='DESC' which will change display the most recent added episodes first.
