How does Redirection work with this plugin?

    How does the Redirection plugin work with Simply Static?
    Obviously, it’s not using PHP redirections.

    Does Simply Static create some kind of JavaScript equivalent on the fly?
    What’s the secret?

    @twd exactly.

    Simply Static creates a 301 redirect with JavaScript once it gets a 301 redirect while parsing a URL.

    It basically creates a HTML file for the old URL and adds a little JavaScript code snippet that returns a 301 redirect once someone visits the old page.

    Where would I be able to see these JavaScript files?
    Where are they placed in the exported directory?
