  • Hello @heheha,

    Thank you for reaching out,

The Loco Translate plugin is for translation purposes, and activating this plugin will not change your site’s language. To change the language of your website, you need to follow the path below: WP Dashboard > Settings > General and set the “Site Language” option.

Alternatively, based on your site’s language, you can use the Loco Translate plugin to translate the strings so they display as you want.

    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards

I set the language to English. The language I set is English, it’s always been set to English, but it shows Chinese 清除 @skalanter

    Hello @heheha,

That word by default is not in the theme,
And we have not received any similar reports so far, and we cannot reproduce it on our end. However, it might be you use a plugin that changes the strings.
Or some wrong translation affects it.

    For troubleshooting:

    1. Please perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method and make sure the issue is related to our theme or plugin(s). To do this, deactivate all other plugins, then activate them one by one and check for this issue.

    2. Delete all translation files from the root of your website / wp-content / languages
Then go to WP Dashboard > Update and update all translation files.

    * Before doing this step please get a full backup from your website and language files.

Please note that, if you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes.

    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards
