How does this prevent search engines from listing site?

    Hi, I haven’t yet installed this plugin but I’m interested in it’s ability to prevent search engines from picking up my website. How does it do this? I know you can discourage robots by changing some settings in wordpress, does this do something similar?

    I would like to use this plugin to show the website I’m developing to colleagues in various locations but I want to be sure that google doesn’t pick it up!

    Hi Elissa,

    This plugin goes beyond discouraging robots from crawling the site.

    It essentially blocks the php from loading your page, unless the user is logged in with your password.

    All google will be able to see is a login page.
