How does this work for bilingual websites

  • Hello. We have a website in EN. Now we want a website in JP and it will always be in sync. So it’s necessary to have the exact same content for both.

    1. How will Polylang auto manage the website based on URL?

    Domain.com/fr/category/post
    Domain.com/en/category/post

    We want easy auto toggle of language and to remember in a users browser the choice.

    2. How will the templates have to change based on the language currently being displayed? Do we need major IF THEN ELSE conditions in our themes in every template, based on url?

    3. On the Admin side. We use ACF and Custom CPT for a more customized WordPress. How will we show a logged in admin user? I know for usual WordPress we can install the right .PO file for languages. But for custom fields and custom types, where will we specify the right equivalent words?
