How easy is it to switch subscribers?

    On my modest site, I have a modest number of subscribers of around 250 e-mail addresses. My current plugin, Subscribe2 seems to be abandoned or almost there. Will MailPoet import those e-mail addresses and send out brief notices when I publish a new post (not page)?

    I am not going to send newsletters or other promotional messages. Will this free version meet my need to notify subscribers of new posts?

    Does MP keep a separate set of tables or use the WP users tables? If latter, how easy is it for them to unsubscribe and be removed?
