How far will the Twenty Eleven theme go?

    4 QUESTIONS:
    #1) I like the simplicity of the Twenty Eleven layout.
    How can I place a different graphic/backround to the “Main Index” so that every page will have a different image behind the type, menu, etc.
    #2) Can I make the Header transparent so I can see this graphic/backround?
    #3) Can I add a graphic image to the footer?
    #4) Can I basically do anything I want by manipulating the CSS code?

  • I’ll answer #4 first. Yes – almost certainly but… wait for it… don’t edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes.
