Hi, Great plugin. helped us a lot. But we now have an issue.

We have our users in external db. When the user logs in , the user details from external database is copied over to wordpress.

What happens when the user changes their password in wordpress? We know that the new password is saved in wordpress . so our question is

    1. will the new password be synced to the external database? if not any help in how we can sync the data to the external database.

It would be of great help if you can answer as early as possible. Many thanks

Nevermind, i found my answer in this thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/password-reset-61/

Should have read through all the questions and then posted.

Hopefully we get to see a change where password change in wordpress syncs back to external db!

    Hey @abhishekmanne,

I am working on a pro version of the plugin and I am planning for this to be a future feature of that.

I’ll mark this as resolved for now but will come back to these threads to update once the feature is added.

For now you could write your own hook into for when passwords get update to make an additional query to your external database to update the password hash.

    Thanks,

    Tom ??
