How is stock management in woocommerce

    I want woocommerce to deduct stock when the order is in pending mode, but as far as I see the stock is first deducted when I complete the order!!!

  • Hey there, @kms17! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

    To clarify, you mean when an order is set as “payment pending”, correct?

    If you want to hold the stock when an order has this status you can use the Hold Stock option.

    The Hold Stock option let’s you set for how long should the product be hold while the order is not paid. When this limit is reached, the pending order will be cancelled.

    You can set this by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and set the time in minutes.
