Since this plugin uses shortcode to display QR Code, it seems it doesn’t save images of QR Code in advance but generate QR Code dynamically everytime the page loads, right? Especially if leaving the encoded content empty to get the current page url? Above are just my blind suppose. Hope to know what if all pages and posts have their QR Code, will the performance be affected much. Thanks for the useful & convenient plugin.

    Hello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.

First of all, this plugin was since the begining, for shortcodes and widgets, designed with a generation of QR codes images via JavaScript, in purpose of not saving images server side.

I did’nt make a full performance test, but the dynamic generation of an image just take a few miliseconds, so it will not really much affect the site performance.

Please take the time to let me know about your experience and rate this plugin.

“via JavaScript”, now I understand, it will not really much affect the site performance.

This plugin is working very well so far so good. I’ll rate it 5 stars!
