• Hi,

I am having a live site and development site.

Do i need to copy the entire /public_html if i am updating the content of the website.

Usually what i do is to export the SQL data from the source and then import it to the destination

Now with w3 total cache in place, do i need to do extra. Or will emptying the cache after updating the live site is sufficient ?

    thank you,
    Regards,
    joie

You’ll want to activate W3TC after you fully create your staging environment. In general you can duplicate your settings in both environments, but you cannot necessarily copy your settings file depending on the settings (e.g. minify settings) you’re using. Sorry.
