How Large Is Too Large Using Proper Network Activation?

    I’m so glad to find the Proper Network Activation plugin. A big thanks to scribu!

    The plugin description includes this note:

    Note: this plugin is not recommended for very large networks of sites.

    Does anyone have any sense of how many sites are too many to use this plugin? Does “very large” = thousands? Hundreds?

    It depends on what the specific plugin does during activation. Under a thousand sites in a network is probably ok.

    The worst thing that can happen is to get a timeout or reach a memory limit.

    This is no longer a problem since version 1.0.2.
