How long should it ake for WP to upgrade

How long should it take to upgrade WordPress with the auto upgrade feature of WP 2.7? I have used the the auto upgrade before and have always seen almost instantaneous results. It’s been almost fifteen minutes since I started the upgrade and it still says “Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-2.7.1.zip”
