    @monika – There is no specific limit to the amount of images you can load except for the actual limits imposed by your web hosting service.

    If you have galleries with more than 500 images you may want to increase the value under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous … “Maximum image count” to a more appropriate value.

    As to actual load times, that has many contributing factors from the number of images to the image sizes to the resources of your server environment.

    We generally recommend it as best to optimize the images for your website before uploading and to use a quality caching plugin if possible … these suggestions should also help with “load” times.
