    hello,
I am trying to make a slider show with JPEG images with smart slider 3 pro plug in.
now my question is how many pixels width I have to make my images to be responsive with every screen size that are wider than 1200 pixel.I wil use my slider show as full width screen. off course I am going to write Media Queries.
I work with foundation grid system but I am not going to use it for my slider show class because it uses 12 column.I tested it with 12 columns and the slider show is coming smaller than the width of the screen so I have to use more than 100% sizes.
now my real question is do I have to use for those slider show images a width size more than 1400 pixel or less.
how many pixels width is exactly the best choice for full width screen and why?
    thanks

Refer to your design. We can’t tell you what’s best because we don’t know what it is you’re trying to build. We’re not going to get into a design question, but you have to decide what fits your design and produces a reasonably fast web page.

    thanks,
I understand and I know about compression of images with special plug in.
just to get an idea which size do you personally will prefer or use for your projects for example for a website for auto repair service or something like similar?

    It depends on the design.
