If he demands you to pay for WordPress, he’s probably lying. If he wants you to pay his support, it’s actually ok. However, a nice friend. ??

I DON’T KNOW. HE SAY I HAVE TO PAY THE WORDPRESS. HE SAY HE DESIGN THE SITE. BUT IT LOOSK LIKE STUPIDDS.

WordPress is free. But oculd you stop writing ALL IN CAPITALS? It comes across as shouting.

I am guessing that this is the site in question.. mainly because it has your conversation with your friend in it.

WordPress is indeed free. And the way it looks like it does, is because it is using the default theme. All he did was set it up for you, so this is perhaps what the charge is for.

There are many themes out there you can use to change the look of your installation.

… and if you paid someone to set you up on wordpress.COM I hope he offered vaseline first.

I can definitly say that he did not design the site, as this is a default theme. Also, he can’t charge you for hosting, because having a blog on wordpress.com is free, as fas as I know.

I he however demands you to pay a one-time fee for taking the installation routine, this is probably ok, because this is work he has actually done. But I think $125 is a bit too much for clicking some buttons.

For starters, your “friend” made you a site on https://wordpress.com. Not only is the WordPress blogging software free to begin with, creating a blog on the WordPress.com site is also free. It probably took your “friend” about 1 minute to create that page.

To pay anythig at all is stupid, to actually ask for money is worse.

Lastly, my god your English is bad. You’re better of posting to your blog in your native language.

I am not sure if his/her English is bad or it is intentionally done. I have known people who get on board with broken English just to look stupid. See how he is able to spell the word ‘DESIGN’, not an easy spell for a non-English speaking and then see how he messes up the structure of his sentences. I say it is intentionally done. All he had to do was provide the text of the email exchanges between him and the web designer.

this is his way of trying to get to a point by looking ignorant.

the answer is: it’s legal for him to charge you $125. but like HandySolo said, it’s fiscal butt rape to charge you for setting something up on wordpress.com.

so if i’m right, and that’s what you’re trying to do – forget it. because you might find yourself a victim in more ways than one. lol
