How not to display a second useless window?

    Hello,

    When I click on the cross icon to close the main window, a small window appears and you have to click a second time on a cross to hide it.
    This second window seems useless, how to make it not appear?

    1) I do not understand why there is this window (window with a scrollbar) that is displayed and that is useless when we leave the slider

    2) If I define Gallery Style> Square, the thumbnails are ok but when the slider appears, the photos are square
