How really get rid of comment section

Madison, thanks, well lot work, Do you know Woo Canvas theme?

Is EASY way just to nuke it out… or
Should hire a web developer to write code.

Not a fan of plug ins.

All those other tips in article do not get end result, as theme still keeps a Comments section at bottom of blog/ podcast post, implying of course, that no one wanted to comment.

I am not personally familiar with the Woo Canvas theme, it also looks like WooCommerce is no longer actively developing Canvas. You might still be able to get support for the theme using WooCommerce’s support system: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/.

The article I sent previously also has a “Remove ‘Comments Are Closed’ in WordPress” section which might be of use for your particular case, since it will remove the comments section entirely from the website.

In that case, I think your best bet might be to switch to a different theme ?? Particularly one that won’t show the comments section if discussion was disabled for a post/entry.

You may also want to pursue hiring someone to take on this work or tweak the Canvas theme, as you suggested earlier.

I believe that the WordPress default themes (the Twenty* ones) all behave this way – they respect the “Allow comments” checkbox on a given page’s setting and do not show the comments section if comments are not allowed. When I uncheck that box locally with the most recent version of WordPress and the Twenty Twenty-One theme, the comments section does not show up for me: https://cloudup.com/iNsuf6vnSIJ

I think this may be the a consequence of the theme you’re using. I would recommend using the suggestions Kuldeep and I have mentioned, or switching to a newer theme that respects the “Allow comments” setting appropriately.

I personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with using a plugin, especially if it accomplishes something your current theme doesn’t provide. If you switch to another theme, does the problem persist?

I don’t do theme switching.
We are not even sure if plug in will do what hopeing right? Who knows..

I think the problems arise once you have too many of them. How much is too much you ask? Well. That’s subjective. Here is more on this:
