• Hi all,

    The mentioned website can’t be browsed its pages. The problem was caused by updating some packages lately.

    I can login to Dashboard.

    -> All-in-One Wp Migration -> Backups
    I found previous versions there.

    Can I just click RESTORE on Backup to restore previous version before updating packages. Besides there are several Backups there. If trying one of them fails can I try another one?

    Please advise. Thanks in advance

    Regards

    Hi, this question is not related to this plugin but let me help you to sort that out.

    If you recently took a backup, you can try restoring it on a different installation/staging site to make sure that all the things that you want are working there and you won’t loose anything.

    Just clicking Restore button won’t work if you’re using FREE version of All in One WP Migration plugin. You need to download those backups and upload them again in “Import” section to restore.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice.

    I have backup and export files created and download on my desktop PC.

    If I understand your advice correctly.

    Steps to be performed:
    1. Create a new website with WordPress and All-in-One WP Migration plugin installed
    2. Upload the export file to the website
    3. Click import button to import the file

    In which folder shall I import the “export file” ?

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Furthermore several years ago I have done such steps on VM of VirtualBox running on desktop PC. It worked, with cloned website created on local PC.

    Unfortunately I forgot all steps.

    Hi,

    Lot of thanks for reply and link.

    I have performed such steps in the past without problem in many times. Sorry this time I forgot adding following plugin;
    all-in-one-wp-migration-file-extension

    for uploading backup file of large size.

    Furthermore without above plugin installed. Is there any way to upload backup file of large size to the website?

    Besides I have following problematic site
    https://lesousvide.com
    without installing all-in-one-wp-migration-file-extension

    This website has problem to update/add plugin. I still have not figured out a solution. I found there are backup files on;
    All-In-One WP Migration -> Backups
    Can I run “Restore” on it directly to restore this site to previous version?

    Thanks

    Regards
